Hello, my name is Peter Ghostine, the founder of ZenTrader.com.  I am an entrepreneur, an engineer and a former professional in the field of Information Technology.  I co-founded two successful companies in the last two decades, both of which were acquired in recent years.

As a business-minded professional, my sole focus has always been on maximizing the bottom line of the business by delivering incredible value and excellence to customers.  In the summer of 2009, I decided to take a hiatus from the world of technology to pursue another long-standing passion: trading.  This decision was especially motivated by a dismal portfolio performance suffered at the hands of incompetent hedge fund managers during one of the most exhilarating bull markets in recent memory. 

Let’s face it: trading is often too confusing and frustrating, and it’s certainly not for the faint of heart. Cluttering the Internet today is a plethora of ‘wealth-building’ stock newsletters, unreliable penny stock tips, and unverifiable stock twits.  In addition to this, you will find a legion of ‘expert-sponsored’ trading web sites that are relentlessly propagandizing infeffective, sometimes flawed trading methodologies. Unsurprisingly, this sea of misinformation makes it practically impossible for home gamers to navigate the murky waters of the stock market with any reasonable degree of confidence, let alone realize and maintain any semblance of a steady profit stream.  Many of these sites are merely glorified get-rich-quick schemes, primarily focusing on getting the site owners rich by charging exorbitant fees to uninitiated traders.

For all these reasons, I decided to embark on the daunting task of creating this new and exciting web site called ZenTrader.com. The purpose of ZenTrader.com is to foster a network of intelligent, goal-oriented traders who, like me, wish to take matters into their own hands by actively trading their own portfolios, safely and confidently.

Because the road to trading success is often paved with failure, ZenTrader.com vehemently promotes a focused and self-disciplined trading methodology, aiming to maximize profits and minimize risk.  Dubbed HITS (High-Integrity Trade Signals), this methodology consists of a unique blend of best-in-class tools that are finely-tuned for the purpose of identifying high-probability trade setups, regardless of the direction of the underlying market.  This methodology is universal in its applicability to any market – stocks, ETFs, Futures, or FOREX – and to the timeframe that best suits the trader's personality and risk profile – tick, minute, hour, day.
